Elizabeth's Intertwinement Part 1

A requested Pokemon Anthro TFTG

“Are the ‘goods’ here?” said an anonymous voice.

“Affirmative,” said another anonymous voice as he held a Gamestop bag with some sort of rectangular protrusion in some areas. “All of the settings are complete, and all tests are cleared.”

“…”

“Is something wrong sir?”

“…What kind of delivery is this?” said the first in an irritated voice. “Where is the brief case? We are not a bunch of childish teenagers?”

“S-sorry sir,” the second apologized. “I thought it would be better to hold the ‘goods’ in something less conspicuous.”

“Ugh,” the first groaned. “You realize we adults do not play video games. Or are you too stupid to know that.”

The second winced.

“Never mind,” the second said. “We don’t have time. The boss is waiting. We need this prototype delivered quickly. This, or we lose our heads. You hear me. No more screwing up.”

“Y-yes, sir,” the second said.

“Good,” the first said. “We went through a lot of trouble on this one, but it will be well worth the time. This is another step in technology. Do you realize we have what used to be science fiction now turned into reality? The world must and will know. We’ll make billions and revolutionize the world we live in. Project Perfect Dimension will be burned into history.”

Two shadowed figures then walked out of an abandoned warehouse and into the howling winds. Their destination was in a long, but hopefully quick reach.

~~

*Ding ding*

A teenage boy was coming out of a GameStop store with a bagged product.

“Finally,” the teen said. “All that work in the café really paid off. Though I still wished I didn’t have to travel so far just to get this.”

The teen’s name was Redryan. He was your average high schooler with a tall height and short brownish hair. He was wearing red shirt and blue jeans. He was walking down the sidewalk with black sneakers in his feet and a GameStop bag in his right hand.

After feeding his ticket into the machine, he made his way to the subway just in time as it arrived.

Meanwhile, two men in black suits just entered the same subway with a bag with them. As the doors closed, the subway made its way to its next stop. The sudden jerk caused Redryan to stumble forward and bump into the two men, causing them to drop their bags.

“Hey, watch it, kid!” one of them yelled as he picked up a bag.

“I’m sorry,” said Redryan startled, yet also offended by the man’s rude outburst.

“Pftt. Teenagers,” the man said as he and his associate walked off.

Redryan looked behind him disapprovingly as he picked up his bag and took a seat in the nearest empty seat. Little did any of them realize, there was a bit of a switch.

~~

The teen walked with his purchased items on the road to his high school’s dorms.

“Man, can’t wait to play,” Redryan said to himself. “I don’t know how many times I have to say this to get my own point across.”

Then, he felt something wet hit his head. He looked around to see small wet circles appear all over the road.

Rain!

Redryan quickly ran for his dorm. As soon as he reached the door, he fumbled for his card. He eventually got it out of his pocket and used it to unlock the door.

Redryan went to his room and sat on the floor with his items in his hand. He took out a large box containing a Nintendo 3DS out along with a Pokemon X game cartridge. After opening both packages, he immediately set up his new 3DS and plugged in the charger.

“There’s no way I can wait much longer,” Redryan thought. “I’ll just play as the DS charges.”

After getting over the DS settings like, owner’s name, time, and all that, he found himself in the standard start menu for the console. Satisfied with the outcome, he turned it off, inserted the cartridge and turned the DS back on. After scanning the menu, he found the icon for Pokemon X. He selected it and pressed start, expecting it to go straight to the usual introduction for the game. To his surprise, however, a question with two options popped in front of him:

Which 3D setting would you like to use?

>Normal Screen Mode

>Perfect Dimension Mode

“Weird,” thought Redryan. “Is there really a big difference in how 3D this can be?”

Confused, Redryan pondered over this thought. He was about to select the Normal Screen Mode, but his eyes kept looking at the Perfect Dimension Mode. Something about these three words seemed so compelling to him. After some hesitation, he chose the Perfect Dimension Mode. Suddenly, the top screen went blank.

“Oh great,” groaned Redryan. “My first day with a 3DS and already…wait…WHAT?”

In front of his eyes, the 3DS’s top fold retracted into the main compartment, as the rest of it shifted into a game controller like shape with the touch screen intact.

“…What the heck…”

But surprise didn’t end just there. Suddenly, a large cube the size of a large TV popped in front of him. Inside, the Pokemon X intro started playing in what seems equivalent to HD.

Redryan just sat there speechless.

“…This is…AMAZING! I had no idea 3DS’s were made with this feature. I never thought holograms would be in put into games so soon. I wonder if they were keeping this a surprise. Either way, this is certainly a new level of 3D.”

As he played, every second of it just got him even more excited and amazed at the graphics created through such a small console. It was as though it was actually happening in the real world rather than the digital world. About an hour and a half later, he made it past the third gym leader and was in the Pokemon Amie with his newly caught female Eevee, whom he called Elizabeth.

“I already have all my Eeveelutions and Eevee transferred into this game, now I just need to evolve this Eevee into a Sylveon,” Redryan said to himself. “Even if they are computer programmed with no actual emotions, I really hope they aren’t feeling forced into their evolutions.”

Suddenly, he heard the digital noise of an Eevee from his 3DS. He looked at the screen and was shocked. There was a text message that says:

“Elizabeth: Don’t feel that way, master. We’re happy with the evolution choices you made for us. We all love you.”

Redryan was so surprised he almost dropped his console. He knew this game was somewhat interactive, but to this extent?

“…Ooookay,” Redryan said. “You’re having a long day. You’re just tired from the long trip. You’ve just been playing too many video games.”

But to his shock, another message pooped up.

“Elizabeth: You’re funny master. Are you okay?”

“Um, I’m fine,” Redryan said, feeling crazy that he’s talking to some pixelated figure from a videogame.

“Elizabeth: Master, weren’t you going to feed me.”

“…Huh?…Oh! Yeah!” Redryan said taking his stylus before hearing a beeping noise. He looked at the touch screen.

“Elizabeth: Wait, master.”

Suddenly, the touch screen went blank. Blake panicked, thinking the 3DS was busted, but then heard a beep from the cube. He looked to see that the screen for the touch screen is now in the cube. A top message read, “Grab a Pokepuff and feed your Pokemon.” The Eevee named Elizabeth sat waiting.

“Elizabeth: I’m ready master.”

Redryan, still somewhat bewildered about the situation, put down the controller and tried grabbing the puff, expected it to just hover over his hand or something.  How wrong he was. He actually touched the puff like it real. He was so surprised that he almost dropped it. The texture felt so real and accurate that he had to prod it all over the make he’s actually holding it.

“Elizabeth: Master, please don’t play with my food.”

“Oh, sorry,” Redryan said as he handed Elizabeth the Eevee the puff. Elizabeth ate the pastry and jumped in happiness.

“Elizabeth: Thank you master.”

“You’re…welcome,” Redryan stuttered, then thought, “Hmm, if I could touch the puff, maybe…”

Redryan reached into the cube and touched Elizabeth as if an actual Eevee was there. Seeing this is true, he started petting her, to which she accepted gratefully.

“Elizabeth: That feels good master. Thank you.”

“You’re welcome,” Blake chuckled, starting to accept the properties of his new game. “Hey, Elizabeth. Are you fine with evolving into a Syvleon?”

“Elizabeth: Yes master. A Sylveon matches my personality well. I’m ready to battle whenever.”

“Let’s do it then.”

Then, the door opened. A teen the same age as Redryan appeared.

“Hey, Redryan,” said the guy as he closed his umbrella and put it aside. “Are you in here?”

“Yeah,” Redryan said. “Blake, come quickly, you gotta see this.”

“See whaaaaaaa….”

As Blake entered, he was surprised by the large holographic cube projected in front of his friend.

“What the, what is that?” Blake asked.

“I don’t know,” Redryan said. “It came with the 3DS. It’s like it’s some secret feature people were hiding as a surprise or something.”

“Whatever the case, it’s really cool,” said Blake as he turned to the Eevee. “Cute Eevee.”

“Elizabeth: Thank you, Master Blake.”

“Woah, what the heck,” Blake said, taken back by the unexpected event. “This game is that interactive?”

“Apparently,” Redryan said.

“…I take back what I said,” Blake said. “This is ‘super’ cool. You think I can try later?”

“Let me just see my Eevee evolve, then I’ll let you have it,” said Redryan.

“Sounds fair,” Blake said.

For a few minutes, Redryan battled with Elizabeth, and was nearly about raise her to the next level. As he battled, more lightning flashed outside.

“Sheesh, the storm is that bad, huh,” thought Redryan as he beat his enemy and finally leveled up Elizabeth enough to evolve. “Alright.”

Then, Redryan pressed the A button, and the evolution process started. The Eevee was glowing until it was engulfed by a large white sphere. Just as the process was completed, lightning struck the dorm’s electric rod, sending a surge of electricity, until…

“Ow!” exclaimed Redryan as he dropped the controller due to the shock from the surge.

“You okay,” Blake said concerned.

“Ah, yeah,” Redryan said. “Just a shock. Didn’t think that storm was that bad. I think I’ll unplug the charger for now. I think the hologram is shocking enough.”

“Agreed,” Blake said.

The two turned to see that Elizabeth finally evolved into Sylveon. Redryan gave a quick victory pose.

“Well, I’m hitting the showers,” Redryan said. “You go on ahead and play.”

During all the fuss, however, neither of them realized that Redryan’s hair color seems to be shifting into a lighter color.

~~

“What do you mean you don’t know what happened?” one of the men in black yelled at his partner.

“Sir, I made sure to check the bag before handing it to you,” said the other trying to defend himself. “Maybe you switched bags by mistake.”

“It’s your fault,” shouted the first guy. “If you hadn’t put the ‘goods’ in that stupid GameStop bag, this wouldn’t have happened… but, now that you mention it I did bump into that kid with a similar bag. But even if it did happen, how are supposed to find it and deliver it to the boss?”

“Don’t worry,” said the second. “The scientists put a tracking device in the prototype in case it was lost, we can track them easily.”

“Good,” the first guy said. “But, it’s late. We’ll call it a day for now.”

~~

“Ah, that felt nice,” Redryan said as he stepped out.

He wrapped himself with a towel and went to dry his hair. When he went to the mirror, his face froze, then…

AHHHHHHH!

Blake jumped at the outburst. He began knocking at the door.

“Redryan,” Blake asked. “Are you okay?”

“Redryan?”

The door slowly opened, showing Redryan still wrapped in a towel around his lower body along with a towel hanging on his head. Redryan took the towel off his head. To Blake’s shock, Redryan’s usual brown hair was now a light pink.

“What the heck,” Blake said. “What did you put in your hair?”

“J-just my shampoo,” stuttered Redryan.

“Um,” Blake said. “Is it my imagination, or does your body hair seem a little longer?”

Redryan took a look. sure enough, Redryan’s body hair seems twice as long and even seems to take a lighter brown color.

“This is weird,” Blake said.

“I’ll…see a doctor tomorrow. I-it is Saturday tomorrow,” Redryan stammered as he went back to change into his sleep wear.

“Right,” Blake said. “I guess I’ll call it a day as well.”

Blake went to shut down the 3DS. But, before he did, he saw a window in the cube. It said:

Stage 1 out of 2 of the transfer process complete. Would you like to continue or pause process?

>Continue

>Pause

Blake was confused about what all that was, but decided to pause it and save it for tomorrow. With that, the 3DS was shut down, and he got ready for bed, unaware that there was more to the program than it seems.
